Not ideal. Looks like the rail sits on top rather than fits around the table, and the playing surface is not level with the racetrack, but for $150 picked up, this table looks like a steal.

That table is wrong on so many levels. Racetrack, uneven play surface, rail construction, and cup holders located to provide hours of micro chip-golf enjoyment.

If I purchased it, I'd use it for parts... so $150 is not such a great deal imho.

To each his own.

It ain't perfect, that's for sure. But if the build is good, its easily got $250-$300 in materials.

If I needed a third table, I'd definitely be at least taking a look at it.

I carry a pew pew...
But do you want to have to use it over a sketchy poker table?

Couple of mechanics at a rival sand and gravel hauler went into Detroit a few years back to look at a 4 wheeler for sale on CL. They were both murdered. Then there were several murdered in Inkster a year or two back over CL cell phone sales. it is seriously insane what goes on all around us in this area.

Life insurance is paid up... and I'm worth more dead than alive...

We all gotta go sometime.

Seriously, let go showed it at 5 Mile and Telegraph. Where'd Craigslist show it?

EDIT: Looks like Craigslist has it at Telegraph and 6 Mile. Those are mostly bungalos in that area... The background of the pics shows a two story house... Might be a different area. Then again, could be stolen pics and a murder scam.

I made some house calls in Inkster. The neighborhood was different...house, church, convenience store, house, store, house---salt of the earth family.

Worth it if you were gonna do a rehab. Re-pad the whole thing and get rid of the racetrack. New felt and you're cooking with gas.

You forgot wig shop, gun store, liquor store, beauty shop...

I can make fun of Inkster. I grew up there.

Owner said he's in Redford (96/Telegraph) -- which is the border of Detroit.

I just noticed that this is an 8 person table. Or at least there are only 8 cup holders.

Not so much of a steal, imo..... unless one actually likes the 'features' of the table -- most of which would drive me bonkers. I don't think I'd take it if you GAVE me $150 with it, unless it was delivered, too.

I sold a similar one on CL months ago before I built my new table. Racetrack with cupholders, slightly raised middle with fresh SSC, but the rail wrapped around the bottom. I got $200 for it and the buyer was happy at that price. It was a fine table, just too big for my basement.

Where do you live?
Atlanta suburbs.

But I spent many years in Jackson and Sterling Heights, with jobs in Madison Heights, Bloomfield Hills, and Warren. Also worked across most of the entire state at one time or another, including the UP.

I was communicating with the seller via the Offer Up app. I had a commitment last night and when I got home, I had two messages.

"I will deliver for $140 today only."

and

"Table is sold."

That table is too big for my space, but to have it delivered for $140, I think I could deal with the undesirable features. Its all academic now...

Go to Motz's and have a few sliders to console yourself. And yes, I'm jealous of you for being able to get to Motz's.
