I recently bought a poker tabletop with padded rails, a fake wood race track, and a suited speed cloth. Really big fan of the product (for the cost), and it fits my dining table perfectly. My one problem is I'm worried about people spilling drinks on the table and there doesn't seem to be an aesthetic way to add cupholders. Since it's a folding table top, drilling holes to install cupholders doesn't work. Nor would the cupholders that attach to the underside of the table. I've seen some clip-on cup holders that attach to the edge of the table, but I'd be concerned about compressing the padded rail.

The closest I have come to a solution is the weighted cup holders that people use on their office desks to prevent spills, but these work best once they've been stuck or glued down and are not particularly cheap (i.e., £10-15, a piece).

Has anyone come up with a good (or better) solution for this issue?

How about getting the drinks off the table completely....like drink carts?? If you are handy at all, you can build them reasonably cheap. Others have bought the carts off of Amazon and then drilled holes for the cup holders. Just a thought......

A great thought, thank you! I don't have a ton of extra space around my table so might run into new issues, but I like the look of these. There may be a good compromise somewhere in there that I'll keep chewing on. Thanks again!

Really like those swing out cupholders. Not quite sure if I have enough room on the underside of the tabletop to make it work, but definitely getting me thinking. Thank you!
