I'm hosting a 8-10 person tournament tomorrow. I'd like it to last around 4 hours, 5 max. I am doing unlimited rebuys for the first 2 hours. There will also be a 1000 chip add on for players that show up on time. These are the chips I have with my poker set.
T25-350
T100- 409
T500-174
T1000-100
T5000-100
From what I've read T25 with 10k starting stacks is a popular option. I'm thinking for starting stacks I'll do 12/12/5/6 as that seemed to be a popular option on here.
I wasn't able to find a blind structure yet so I used poker soup and found this blind structure. What are your opinions?

1 25/50+0:00
2 50/100+0:20
3 75/150+0:40
4 100/200+1:00
5 125/250+1:20
6 200/400+1:40
7 300/600+2:00
8 400/800+2:20
9 600/1200+2:40
10 1000/2000+3:00
11 1500/3000+3:20
12 2000/4000+3:40
13 3000/6000+4:00
14 4000/8000+4:20
15 7000/14000+4:40
16 10000/20000+5:00

What are your opinions? Anything you would tweak?
Also what are your recommendations on when to color up lower denom chips? Thanks

I did find this structure, do you think this will work better then the one I posted earlier?

T25s go after L5 (once they aren’t needed to make the blinds). T100 go after L9.

You need to work out what breaks you want - 5 minutes for color up at least - but this is dependent on your crew. Also consider if breaks should be extra elapsed time, or if you want to shorten each level by eg 2 minutes to buy yourself half an hour of breaks (eg 3 x 10 minutes) by level 15 and still finish in 5 hours.

The 2nd blind structure is smart in that starting with 4 small chips as BB rather than 2 lets the blinds increase more slowly (think 40% vs 60+% over the level before (which is good)) but does make the starting stack shorter. Which means I’d only do the second with a 20K starting stack. There’s no right answer for starting stack size and someone will argue that with the first blind structure you’re at 100BB by level 2 anyway… You can take your pick there.

I keep digging though the archives here and found this posted in a thread that seemed to match my game perfectly. Posted by BGinGA

expand...The key to a solid blind structure is consistency, meaning that the blind increases at each level should remain within a narrow spectrum. Your structure has increases ranging from 25% (L11-L12) to 100% (L1-L2), which is too wide of a range imo. Structure could be improved by adding T25/T75 at L2 and replacing T1000/T2000 with T1200/2400, keeping within your time constraints while maintaining consistency across blind increases and time between breaks:

T10000 starting stacks (200BB):
15-minute blind levels
lvl sb bb
L1 25 50
L2 25 75
L3 50 100
L4 75 150
end re-buy period
L5 100 200
L6 150 300
remove T25 chips
L7 200 400
L8 300 600
L9 400 800
L10 600 1200
L11 800 1600
L12 1200 2400
remove T100 chips
L13 1500 3000
L14 2000 4000 ***
L15 3000 6000
L16 4000 8000
L17 6000 12000

T1000 chips should be used to color-up the T25 chips, and T5000 chips should be used to color-up the T100 chips. With a single table, it will probably be unnecessary to color-up the T500 chips.

Also looks good. I’d let people rebuy to end of level 6. That’s still 33BB which is short, but room to play.
