Suggestions of What to Do (1 Viewer)

Got home and the power went out for the bulk of my far south Austin suburb, Buda.

It’s almost been 2 hrs. Wife was en route home and diverted to a local Sonic with the kids.

My only companions in this pitch black house are a dog and cat. Nothing to do. Any suggestions?

Fire up the charcoal grill. Suggestion: There's probably more meat on the dog. Save the cat in case the power outage lasts through lunch tomorrow.

When my kids were little, we might go "camping" indoors. Read a bed time story by flashlight ( NO CANDLES in tent). Make a "pack mound" with the dog(s) and kids sleeping on the floor/pillows with sleeping bags and tent. When everyone is asleep . . .

Dang Spectrum!

Internet went out right in the middle of what was looking like a successful round of Overwatch.

I’ve had a surge of reinterest in that game as of late.

Tech support says “scheduled maintenance”. Dah!

At six flags San Antonio today for elder daughter’s cheer competition.

For most of these events there’s a lot of down time waiting. At least here there’s a lot of potential for distraction.
