8 player NLHE T1000 stacks no rebuys, one player wants to leave around 3 hrs in. @BGinGA, does it get the thumbs up? Going to try out the improved BlindValet for this one.

I'd probably replace the 25/50 and 35/70 levels with 30/60 and 40/80, but otherwise it's okay.

The structure will rarely make it past L14 (usually ending by L13 200/400). That puts the total time at 3:15 plus 30 minutes of breaks, if using all 15-minute blind levels. You can skip the third break (no color-up required), putting the total time at 3:35. All 14-minute levels would slice off another 13 minutes, and all 13-minute levels puts the total time at 3:09.

However, if wanting to keep the overall time at around 3 hours max, I'd start with 15 minute levels and reduce the length as the event progresses. Going with the following puts the total max time at 3:05 total, including the two breaks:

L1-L4 = 15 minutes
L5-L8 = 13 minutes
L8-L12 = 11 minutes
L13-end = 10 minutes

Since fewer players are still alive towards the end, more hands get played on a per/hour basis. Making those later blind levels shorter has the least effect on the number of hands played per blind level at the end, while ensuring that an adequate number of hands per level still gets played in the early rounds.

Bginga's suggestion seems solid.

I will add that if the only reason for keeping the event to 3 hours is because one player is leaving, you could tweak the structure a bit if he ends up busting in the early or middle stages of the tournament. If he goes out you could do 15min levels all the way to the end or at least keep the later levels sligthy longer, like reducing them to 12-14 minutes only. Also depending on if he is still in or not, skip the last break if needed.
