Anyone have recommendations for a good sports scores/news app that isn’t ESPN? I’ve had about all I can take of that platform.

I just want to say…Cowboys are going to the Super Bowl 2027. Jerry Jones is taking us to the promise land because everyone’s playing checkers while he’s playing 4D chess. Now excuse me while I go cry in the bathroom.
 
Watching the 17 year old kid from Brazil get Judge to hit into an inning ending double play, wow, that’s something special right there. He was hitting 98 on the gun too
 
All while being one of the worst teams in the league, they traded their best defensive force since Woodson (Mack), canned their best player in 20 years (Carr), relocated the team to the most soul sucking, least home field advantage location potentially in sports history (Las Vegas), and then worst of all sold pieces of the team to the teams biggest rival who took a SB championship away (Brady).

I don’t think there’s a player in the NFL who represent their team better or more than Maxx. I pray they get stuck with him, and one day I get to hug him and say thank you.

You might want to hang on to McCarthy, because Kyler Murray is a bag of shit. The cardinals are paying him $37 million dollars this year and they'd rather do that without him on their team. You guys have a bunch of talent up there and I hate to see Justin Jefferson go to waste, but that little slacker is not the answer.
 
Kyler Murray is a total stiff. McCarthy might get better. Not likely for a couple of years tho
 
Last night's AZ / ISU Big 12 semifinal may have been the best college basketball game of the season to this point. High quality defense combined with ridiculous shot making. Lead changes, three point bombs, and a last micro-second buzzer beater for the win. Won't be one bit surprised to see a rematch in the Final Four.

Big 12 just loaded this year! Between ISU, AZ, Houston, and Kansas, you have 4 teams more than capable making a Final 4!

And just for fun, it was one year, but Maye had to have one of the worst playoff run performances ever by an mvp candidate. I can’t think of a worse drop off in recent memory (of just one year).

Hard for me to believe LBJ and Harden (lessso harden as he’s disappeared but also had giant games). Would have to see the stats, especially surrounding usage rates.

LBJ hate I’ll never understand, the quote above says “have you seen his numbers in La” - where his advanced stats are all well above your average replacement at whatever age he is now.

I’d consider CP3 - but that would be less stat/clutch driven and more so surrounding history of team issues and injuries come playoff time.

There’s quite a bit of talk surrounding KD. He is an overall straight murderer duh, but there’s seemingly a dip across his entire storied career in “clutch” minutes, games between teams with records in top X of league, etc. It feels a liiiiitle bit like cherry picking specific examples, but it’s also weird to see his TS% and such have a slight dip in those scenarios in every single season and playoffs - if we’re looking for the lack of that true killer Kobe gene, he might be the perfect example.

I hate, absolutely hate with disgust, seeing sports injuries. I don’t think watching people fail is fun either, if I’m watching a game it’s cause there’s someone I want to see win, never someone I want to watch lose.

So while I don’t hope he continues to fail, I highly doubt I’m ever a remote fan of anything patriots.

They just don’t pass the vibe check (for me), gives major “ick”.

Give me Raiders, give me Steelers, give me Ravens, Saints. Soul.

(Funnily enough, outside of race, I don’t think Fernando Mendoza matches the raiders feel. He actually feels much more like a NE qb type)
