So I was in Seoul a few days ago, on my way to Vietnam, and I needed to use the bathroom. I was in the stall and I climbed up on the toilet to squat down, and the janitor started screaming at me. I was embarrassed and I told him my friend Chris @RocAFella1 , said this is how he does it in Southeast Asia.

Korea is on the other side of the world. You can’t sit on the toilets the same as in America. You have to straddle it facing the tank. It’s the only way.

And you can use the top of the tank like a table
