Hello everyone,
My name is Walt, 38 and I live in The Netherlands.
In my search for a new cashgame set I landed on this forum.
After a decade of no poker it is time to pick up the cards again.
I did have a cashgame set from the earlier days but it didn’t survive storage.
See all the cracks in the €1 Monte Carlo.
So it was time for a new set.
In my search for a set I wanted a few things.
I really wanted clay chips with no metal insert. The old Monte Carlo’s are a little bit to heavy in my opinion.
I might do something with my own custom labels in the future but with some homegames planned in the near future, I really wanted a set that is ready to go.
So I learned about Chinaclays. With the good old paulson chips being a little bit to expensive, I opted for a set of Majestics.
They arrived yesterday and my god these are nice.
Goodbye Monte Carlo’s and hello Majestic’s
So maybe one day I will re-label these with my own labels but for now they are good enough.
