Awesome! Excited for you man. They look great. How long does production and delivery take?
No idea yet. I'll post updates in here and lay out my total ordering process at some point so all PCF hopefuls can get the info.

Massive shoutout to @p5woody who was instrumental in shaping the feeling of the inlay. We had a lot of back and forth over time for this project, and I am extremely satisfied with the feeling the inlay conveys - it's exactly what I was going for.

Thanks to @Kensco with some major help getting my SVG file converted to AI!! Aaaand we're off!

Too much? Nope not at all. Looks awesome!

Top one would be my pick.

First prototypes are in! Hard to get a read on the exactly coloring because of the lighting, but overall I'm pretty happy. For instance, the lighting in the second pic makes the red look spot on, while the direct overhead makes the red look pretty muddied. I'm assuming it's from the overhead shot blocking the direct light.

The graphics for the face of the $1 seem to have gotten enlarged vs the rest, so I'm going to request that it be shrunk down to match the rest.

It also looks like the faded overlay on the background was lost, but it's hard to tell with the lighting. I also don't know that I hate it that way...

All in all I am EXTREMELY happy with the way the faux BJ style turned out!!

Wow love the chip colors man! Yeah really the only noticeable difference from the mocks is the lack of the faded background. I’d be interested in seeing them with that aspect because it will bring the name and denom to the front so they stand out more.

Yeah I'm pretty excited to see these get printed up. I agree with you on the background, as the whole point of the fade over the background was to let the other aspects gain ground.

I'm also curious about the edgepots in the $5, as I was wanting more of a dark brown and less of a brown-black. I'm assuming they won't print more prototypes with edgespots, but I might have them tone down that brown prior to production.

Your lineup looks exceptional. Well done!

Susie sent a second picture (she's fast!), and said the fade in the background is there. Could just be the difference between print and digital. It's super hard to tell with the picture, but here's an auto balanced correction of the one she just sent.

Going to see if we can fix the sizing of the elements on the $1, see if we can turn the inner edge spot on the $5 to a more medium brown as opposed to black-brown, and see if we can lighten up that background a touch without having to send in new artwork. I'm a pretty happy guy at the moment, though!

Love these Chris. They turned out awesome! Can’t wait to see these in action!
9 months without a game and next time you come I'll have purchased and created...
2 custom sets
Cut cards for both sets
Buttons for both sets
12 new decks of cards
New seating chips and bounties for the tournament
Racks and cages for all...

Mark...I think I'm ready for the world to go back to normal now...

Sun-Fly has been great to work with. They are very fast!

Awesome!!
Now we're talking huh? Not that the first iteration looked bad, but dayum the new prototypes look beautiful man. The background looks perfect in the comparison photo. Can I order a set too?  Seriously really cool design and these hybrids are great chips imho.

Only minor suggestion would be maybe a richer purple/lilac for the frac.? Compared to the colors on the other chips, it looks a little washed out (but that might be the pics.)

Did we do it? Did we do it?? I got a for sure sample set with your name on it when they arrive, and I'll have to see if I have enough for a shuffle sampler.

Haha yeah I was already impressed with their first prototype in general, just because I've never worked directly with an overseas vendor before. But yeah, a couple notes and they dialed it right in the next business day!

Good callout on the lavender. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to feel bad about asking for more prototypes, but I do, but also we gotta make sure it's right before it's in full production. I was planning on seeing if that font sizing for the $1 is the same, since they fixed the arrow/mountain face symbols, but the numbers still seem a tough odd. Maybe it's just that the $5 is smaller than the rest. I might have them make that last adjustment and up the lavender, and then tell them to ship it!

That is very generous of you to make a sample set available. I hope you don't think that I am only around for a sample set. :) This set is just way to cool to not follow along with. Yeah that is great to hear about your positive dealings with Sunfly. They just might have to be the next chipping journey that I embark on for sure after seeing these come to fruition.

I would highly recommend it so far based on the interactions I've had. Obviously they already have good history on the board with all of the 43mm buys, but man Susie is attentive and communicative and they are turning these prototypes around in a day.

And even if you were only around for a sample set, nothing I send you will beat the Knollwoods so I'll have to send you samples of the next 50 sets I have made so that accumulatively they equal 1 oz. of cool equal to Knollwoods  :ROFLMAO:

First time seeing these. Im always impressed and inspired what people come up with for their custom sets. Looking forward to seeing the final product and definitely interested in a sample set if you open that up for purchase.

I ordered extras for that specific purpose on these. I'm excited to have these hybrids chips floating around the community. Especially since the 43mm are pretty much the only sunflys that people are passing around.

Purple revision turned too blue on the 3rd prototype, but they fixed the $5 and we're sending to production!

Not sure how long it'll take to get here, but I'm not even gonna worry about it. This has been an awesome team to deal with, and I'll probably go back to the well in the future for add ons, and potentially a second set. I'll do a write up with the process/timeline for working directly with Sun-Fly when they get here.

I might possibly be getting buttons, cut cards, and accessory chips this weekend so we'll see if I wait for the whole family or if I can't help myself...

I ‘liked’ that comment for the extra Sky Valley accessories on the way...but ‘booooooo’ to the lack of pr0n in the meantime. :ROFLMAO:
