Wanted Show 'em!!! (1 Viewer)

Hey, anyone have 10-20 Show 'em chips? Custom THC's perhaps? That would be amazing but I'll take pretty much anything, as long as it's 39mm. I am aware you can order some from the vendors but if a member has some lying around collecting dust, I'm your guy.

I've got 30 of the 7/2 show'em chips you can have for the price of shipping... if you need just 10 that's cool too
When I used them I'd sell them for $1 or $5 (can't remember) contribution to the snack fund. Most folks contributed anyway
so they were almost free for most folks. Once used, they came out of the game.

I've also got 30 basic seating chips you can have as well as 20 WPS bounty chips

I didn't have any that said SHOW-EM, but the artwork I posted a dropbox link to somewhere here I'd have to dig it up. I do have some of the pink ones with the cigar with no text still, and lots of others, but none were 39mm.

My group is a bunch of low-stake noobs (myself included). We do 1 chip per night... surrender when used. I found it improved the quality of play early on. Before the chip there was a bunch of 'sure... it's only a couple of bucks, I call'. Then, with the Showem chip, there's more 'I know I'm beat, I fold... ... but I want to confirm I made the right poker decision'. And now I think only a couple of chips get played per night. I can definitely see them phasing out. YMMV.

Good points, and kind of what I'm hoping happens myself. I'm hoping it engages them a little more and gives them a sense of "oh yeah, he bluffed me in that spot, maybe I could do that next time".

Does the money go to whoever has the chip at cash out?

I use Show'em chips in cash games, sell them for the cost of the big blind, sometimes 2x big blind. The money goes into the high hand jackpot for the night. It's a nice way to jumpstart the high hand payout, people can buy as many as they want throughout the night.

I don't like to use Show'em chips in tournaments or higher stakes games, people tend to take these games more seriously and forcing them to show their hand can lead to bad feelings

I am making my own show chips with new labels. I wanted some butterscotch colored chips in the Vegas house mold cash set, so I decided on these three casinos. The chips all match in color so don't go by the pictures. I originally had Show'em but cut it down to just "Show" to make room for a larger font

One side could be a "show me" and the other side could me a seating chip, dual purpose chip.

I have 10 bounty and show 'em chips coming from them. The ones I got are different. Thank you for the offer though I'm gonna see how I like the ones I'm getting before I go further I think. I have a nice barrel of spotted THC chips I might murder and turn into bounty chips. Still waiting to hear back from @Gear on a simple design I was tinkering with.
