Setup for Online Home Games (1 Viewer)

Has anyone found an recurring (daily or every other day) online home game set up that works for them. We've been running a Discord server where we just send out PokerNow links whenever people want to play but paying out is the biggest hurdle and maintaining an ongoing ledger is difficult. I also know starting a private ClubGG club could be an option but there's some high friction for onboarding, like sending money for more chips, etc., especially for new players.

We want to enable players to join relatively easily, so browser based like PokerNow seems to work best, but wondering if anyone has any experience with setting up online home games.

I have been running on PokerNow for a few year ago playing 1-3 times per week with a small crew. It is fantastic except maintaining the ledger and doing Venmo’s every 3-4 sessions is a ton of work on my end. We’re hopefully trialing Poker Mavens this week. If my gang is okay with the horrific UI then it’ll be a lot easier for me on the banking side I think.

Poker Mavens is about as good an option as you'll find

Poker Mavens has been perfect. Browser based for everyone but the server host. Keeps track of all buyins and account, people can pay me cash or Venmo and I credit their account. NLHE, Omaha, 7 card stud, even a rake if you're into that sort of thing. Tournaments and multi tabling too.

Pay for the pro version, it's worth a little customization. DM me if you want to try it, I'm probably running a free trial on Wednesday for some buddies.

I have been working on my https://gamenight.poker site for just this very thing. But it’s more slanted towards just the scheduling and running of a physical game and is not an online poker host.

Very well! I will be transitioning to PokerMavens. Just so much easier for me. It’s a worse interface and doesn’t have bomb pots but dealers choice is awesome, rebuys being in the players control is awesome, running ledger is really awesome.
