Second cash set- Mets inspired (1 Viewer)

And that's why it's always good to have samples in your hands. After getting the DG Peacock sample in the mail and matching it to the jersey's blue, they did not match. I love the Samurai quarter and Flamingo dollar, so I tried doing something in that regard. Thoughts?

I generally liked the lineup in #80 much better, although I do like the 6D18 pattern for the $5 chip better than the 4D18, and I like the spot color order on the charcoal chip better in your latest mocks.

I concur.
And glad you got your sample set...not that your mocks were bad or anything.

Another mockup while awaiting groomsmen fitting.

If it were me I'd stick with just the official orange, blue & white colors for the 25¢, $1 & $5 and then add the gray into the $20, but would probably go with regular grey instead of charcoal (the color of their road grey uniforms). Charcoal is one of those colors that looks great on it's own, but it's tough combining it with anything except really bright DG colors.

I was thinking about that. I was using their old school gray, but a lighter gray might look better.

Ok, the spots have been finalized, the only thing I'm debating is which colors to use that closely resembles the Mets blue and orange. Either:

I feel like the blue is too dark, which is why I've been advocating that a bright blue or DG blue would be a nice fit.

It'll be marbleized, that's just how it looks right now.

Well the plaques are on their way! Got the e-mail confirmation from MSK. Funny, I ordered these last and getting them first. Now just waiting on two more e-mails, one from David and one from Corey!

Those look great! I'm not a Mets fan, but I like the fact that they're wearing the unis from 86', for Sunday home games!

Old school METS and the classic throwbacks, hella sick. But not like my 86 A's with Canseco, Mcguire, Rodriguez, Stienbach + young Tony La Rusa managing shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit, JK, had to kick some dirt to ya cleats LOL......SixSpeedFury those plaques are unreal and the chips to boot, very jealous and really more of a heirloom than another custom set. Mucho kudos and congratulations and my 2 cents on the blue. ..."NY METS" aren't their colors true royal blue and Chevy orange? Perhaps the darker isn't the right dark and try the retro blue and day glo orange or regular orange. I do prefer the peach to the tiger however the DG just wouldn't really make sense. Regardless it's only my opinion and your shit is fresh. Go METS Go!

Came home to a nice little box from work today! :D MSK does awesome work. Delivery is super fast!

If you're ever willing to part with a sample set, I'd happily take one off your hands!

(I'd want to show them off to all my Blue Jays friends... especially since the Mets are in the playoffs again!)

@Junior24xx, I already have them, just haven't gotten around to take pictures of them. Or oiling them, for that matter lol.

Yea those are gone too lol. If I have a few lying around I'll let you know.
