Perfect day to be on the waterfront. I had a Beecher's mac & cheese on Friday at a pub here in Tacoma. So delicious!

Omg I know!!!! It’s insane! Massachusetts has so many breweries but nothing nearly as condensed like this, not even after 4 existing breweries opened up places in downtown Boston (night shift, trillium, treehouse, and lord hobo)

I'm way too lazy / illiterate to put together and describe a worthwhile list but my girlfriend has a travel blog that I can link once her trip is up. Highlights were Bainbridge area, tourist zones by the aquarium/wheel piers, Ballard (lucky envelope, Stoup, Obrec, Lagunitas, Reubens, NW Peaks), Everett/Funko store, Stratosphere/Chihuli gardens, food (biscuit bitch, dick's (amazing burgers/prices and great name for phrasing jokes), il corvo, beechers, taco chukis, tekku tavern, honey hole, bunch of donut/ice cream places, etc etc.So what did you end up doing in Seattle??? The target list you posted was pretty long. How about highlight the ones you did, and repost the list

thanks for the suggestion! Craft cocktails is definitely not my scene. I'm more of a rundown/laidback/dog friendly brewery type but my gf really enjoyed it and it did seem like a cool place for people interested in that type of experience.
Oh you did go! Lol I'm obviously reading as I'm posting.
I feel you, I'm not really into the scene per-se but I love quality cocktails and Canon makes some of the best (according to my fellow cocktail nerds that live in the area). They have some great presentation there a well... But yes they ARE stupid expensive.

I went to a day game so obviously less people but the stadium wasn’t even half full. If you’re willing to move seats I’d just buy whatever’s cheapest. If you don’t want to do that but still are price conscious upper deck behind home plate was the cheapest but still fairly good view of everything (despite being a bit farther away)

The Mariners are in the first year of a multiple year planned rebuilding, they haven't been good for a while but after last year they flat out said "we're going to suck for a few years while we stack prospects"...and other than the hot start they have lived up to the promise. My point? A lot of Seattle area fans are bandwagon (example:Seahawks) and when the teams aren't winning the stadiums are not full, especially baseball. Unless you see a Friday or Saturday night game just buy the cheapest ticket you can find and have the run of the place. I went to a day game during the week last month and I bet there wasn't 20k there.
Did you like Funko? It's a cool place, I'm not into all that stuff much but it's cool for Everett to have and the little figurines are fun to put on your shelf. I live about ten minutes from Everett up in lake Stevens, would have loved to bought a chipper lunch or a drink if I knew you were up here.
Sounds like you had a great time, i don't drink too much and when I do I prefer it to be walking a golf course or the top of a mountain or by a fire... I'm not much help with cool bars and shit like that. Glad some folks in the know did you right.

Thanks for the offer 12thMan! We only had about 2 hours and it was midday midweek anyway though.
Funko isn't my thing, it was 100% for my gf. It was neat but we were both disappointed by the size of the store. It's large but at the same time most of it's open space or taken up by large props which again are cool but just not worth the trip IMO if that's the only thing you're going to do up in Everett.
As for must go... we only stayed in the city (besides Funko) and just for a few days so this is by no means exhaustive but:
1) Ballard breweries were my #1 Stoup and Reubens were my favorite - solid beer and really great vibes/atmosphere
2) Pike Place is super touristy but still fun as a tourist (biscuit bitch and beechers were fun to go to and good food) the gum wall provided some cool pictures
3) Dick's Drive-In (like a old school burger joint with hella cheap prices but delicious burgers) plus it made for great phrasing if you have the maturity of a 5 year old like me
Plenty of other places especially if you're going outside the city but from my 4.5 days there those were my favorites.
Overhyped IMO:
Space needle - may have been super cool when built but it's not near downtown and there's plenty of modern buildings of similar height in the city alone. just buy tickets there btw and not through a 3rd party vendor
Aquarium - I'm a big animal guy but after seeing some of the other aquariums on the west coast (like all the major ones
) it was just okStarbucks - first store and the Reserve (fancy starbucks) are just tourist traps. plenty of cooler and nicer local coffee shops
If you hit up the Ballard breweries, make sure to go to the ballard restaurant area, it's really quaint and has great food options. I suggest Stone Burner or San Fermo for best food/atmosphere.
Then after dinner head on down to Golden Gardens which is only like 8 mins away. Its a gorgeous beach and has breathtaking sunsets, you'll also probably see a seal barking in the water.
