Pretty good hot stamp job. Like how bold and obvious it is. Someone loved these.Huh. Not usually a hotstamp fan. But this I like. Good luck with info hunt. Possible is an imitating illegal?
Makes sense. This chip was found with a bunch of military ephemera.Private set, then. Saigon has pretty specific connotations. Veteran's organization?
There are T. R. King order cards for your chip.Does anyone know the origin or story of this chip? I've found nothing searching online. Thank you.
Cool so Daddy sent chips to his Son? To have bad ass games in the officer's mess and network. There are T. R. King order cards for your chip.
1100 of the Saigon Horse Shoe chips were ordered in six denominations by William L. Samex, Saigon, Vietnam and were sent to Captain T. S. Taus c/o Air America, MFD 2277, APO San FRan 96307, on 7/17/1967. A different custom die was made for each of the six denominations, making it an expensive custom order. A Black Jack layout was also sold with the chips.
I am an Admin with the ChipGuide and if you were to submit the chip to the ChipGuide, the original order cards would be uploaded there along with your chip.
