Two Pair
Hey everyone! Recently, I had an idea for a neat little project to display the Rounders replica chips, and I wanted to share it with you all and see what you thought!
My idea is to do something like a shadow box with a foam insert inside with cut-outs for the $25, $100, and $500 chips since these are what we see in the film. I also mocked up a plaque to sit in a separate cut-out below the chips. One of the great things is that I could contact Gene at @ABC Gifts and Awards for the plaque so as to keep it in the community. I would need to find a vendor to do the foam and the cut-outs, and I was thinking of asking if it's something that @PokerChipsDesign could do. I'd prefer to support the vendors here.
Below is a (crude) mock-up of what it would look like before sitting in the shadow box. It's 6.5" x 6" with 0.5" margins and a 0.5" space between the chips and the plaque.
If this happens to work out, maybe it could be something that I could do for others! I'm certainly not trying to come off as some sort of solicitor or anything, and if this post is any sort of issue then I will happily edit or remove it. I just know that, for almost, if not all of us, Rounders is a classic.
Please let me know what you think! If you have any suggestions, I would love to hear them! Thanks everyone!
