I have looked around online and I am still not clear on a portion of no limit Texas hold'em betting rules.
I know that the minimum bet that a player can make must be equal to the BB. With that said is there a limit to what increments players can bet at?
Example: if the blinds are 50/100, 100 is the minimum bet in any given round. Also if a player bets 100, and another player wants to raise, he/she must at minimum, double the bet, which would be 200 in this example.
My question is, could a player bet 125 if the blinds were at 50/100? or does the bet have to be 150 to be legal since 50 is the smallest increment allowed based on the SB? or would the bettor need to bet in 100 increments since the BB is 100?
