I'll get this ball rolling... as someone who has had their eye on this set for some time, I think a reasonable price is about $3 per chip. This is largely based on the price that WTHC chips have sold for recently. I am not likely a buyer at this price, but I think that price is reasonable.

What are the Quantities you are selling. I always wanted a set of these.
Merci

I'll take the under. Personally I'd say $2 is reasonable.
Reasonable is a tricky word though, isn't it. I wouldn't say $2.50 is unreasonable, so maybe that's your number. I guess I'd be comfortable at $2.25 per chip? And if Shaggy wants to pay $3.00 because he really wants them and can't find them, I suppose that's reasonable too.
$2.25 - final answer!

I'd put a little extra value on the fact that it's a pretty good breakdown overall. Perhaps a few too many $0.50, but a nice amount of ones and fives and a decent amount of bank provided by the 25s and 100s. So to me, overall, that would add a little to the value of the chips as a set.

My baseline for these chips, in odd/less useful breakdowns, is around $2/chip. For a complete and playable set, I'd say something closet to $2.50, perhaps as a little higher to the right buyer, isn't unreasonable.

It appears to be 25c. I am not aware of 50c chips for this set. Additionally, he stated he was selling by the rack... this should fetch a slightly higher price than within the whole set.

Each denom would have a different value according to you ?

Maybe slightly. I would also recommend selling the $25 and $100 by the barrel rather than by the rack. I don't recall the original breakdowns for these chips... the 25c chip may be more rare and thus fetch a higher price.

This is a great cash set breakdown, imo. I'd really be disappointed to see it broken up and sold off in pieces.

If I were a seller, I'd list them as an action with a starting bid somewhere between $1750 and $2000 (roughly $1.75 to $2/chip), and expect them to sell for somewhere between $2750 and $3000. If I were a buyer (not really applicable, since I don't host cash games and generally do not collect cash sets), I'd be looking to pick them up for $2.50/chip or less if possible -- and totally expecting to be out-bid.

Totally playable sets rarely come up for sale. I tried for over two years to build a small single table tourney set, and never got past a single rack each of $500s and $1000s.

Even with the occasional QC issues (inlay differences, inconsistent colors, mold ghosting, etc.), they are great chips.

Theres two sets of these on ebay for around the 3$ a chip range

FYI both set have been lingering on eBay for a while now, the tourney set for a few weeks and the cash set for several months.
