Probably cheap plastics. Very dark colours, based on the photos.

Those are very cheap quality. I would almost rather play with dice chips to be honest. Not worth 5 bucks for the whole lot of them imo. I have a small set of these that I picked up at a garage sale one time and they are very poor quality. Don't waste your time on them.
