This pic is from an eBay listing. Continous Shuffling Machine have been around for a LONG time buddy. This model is pretty much the standard everywhere I have been.
Yeah, as I was saying it, I guessed that I was wrong. I've never noticed one, and I've definitely noticed dealers doing it manually, but clearly that doesn't mean poop.

Yep, with or without a shuffler, the dealers need to know how to shuffle manually. Those things have the tendency to break down, and a casino isn't shutting down a busy table on a Saturday night because a shuffler went down.

There’s also this one that isn’t continuous shoe but shuffles 6 decks at once.

I HATE the one2six shufflers. There's no flow.
And very few casinos use these ones on Blackjack.
This to me anyways is a fine compromise between machine shuffled and "nice" game play.
Obviously casinos like the one2six though.

We only use Bridge size, Standard index in my home game. We got used to them playing the casinos, and as we all know... people don't like change!

I'm not sure why, but in the casinos around me, the poker table uses poker size. I actually just bought a deck of bridge size Kems thinking I would appreciate the classic size/card but I seriously cannot believe a card that small is the norm. They are seriously tiny from my perspective. Do casinos really use the bridge size still? What about TV poker? Most games I've seen seem to use poker size, but I've heard that's a new trend.

I'm not sure what rooms you have played in, but Fortune Poker in Renton uses bridge size, as does Slo-Pitch in Bellingham.

lol, truth be told I haven't played in a room in the Seattle area. I just came home after graduating from school on the east side of the state, so my only experiences have been at Spokane area rooms.

Please tell me that "graduating from school on the east side of the state" didn't involve Walla Walla. The world is small enough already.

Does anyone know if one can still purchase Kem Super Magnum Index cards? The Copags have the Jumbo pips where my Kem’s have the regular pops. Mine are starting to wear after 20 years and looking for a replacement.

There are a couple of different group buys going on right now. Not Kem, but pretty nice cards. Do you prefer poker or bridge size?

Pretty sure I specifically said not Kem... Some reason you don't want me to share info about Josh's sale to a new member?
No. I just don't understand why you would. The guy came along looking for KEM cards with a specific, obscure index. You might as well link every card in the world if you're gonna link those.

Maybe you should go back and read the entire exchange. I've always thought the purpose of the forum is to help people. Especially new members. He can take a look at the sale thread and decide for himself if he's interested. Not sure why you think you need to intercept for him and limit his options. If you don't like reading posts from people who like helping others out, you should probably just go ahead and block me now and save yourself some frustration.

Hey guys, any help is always appreciated. Thanks for helping a newbie out.

upNdown the link you sent looks like jumbo or regular index?

Ha, no, @TX_Golf_N_Poker sent you the link. But yeah, that's the only downside of those cards, it is exactly jumbo or regular - meaning there aren't any guarantees of what you'll get. Killer price though.

For the price of a cup of coffee a day..... you can get save a life or get some pretty sweet cards.

Thanks Josh, looking for Kem Super Magnum though. I don’t like jumbo pips. ‍♂️
