I will be placing an order with Gear Labels soon to create a matching tournament set for my SAHARA tribute cash set. For this, I have over 300 green, gray, purple, and yellow ASM/CPC plain molds available to build a T25 based set.

I’ve been playing around with different ideas and designs for weeks, and I’ve now decided on one concept. There are now these three final drafts left.
The label will be 1 inch and will have a white border with a black inner area that has a diameter of 7/8 inch.

Regarding version #1, it is meant to match the structure and look of the original from the 1950s. Version #3 has two different sides. On both sides the denomination is printed—either as a number in the center or as text in the circular lettering.

I’ve printed all the designs on paper and already placed them on the chips. But I’ve been looking at the designs for too long now, and I’m missing an unbiased perspective. Therefore, I would really appreciate your participation in the poll. Thank you.

I like #1 for a couple reasons. It’s clean and classy. I’m not a big fan of labels with alternative sides. So for #3, one side looks a little plain and the other has the same issue as #2 for me, which is too busy. But, that’s just my 2¢ which is probably worth even less than that.

I really like #1. The end. lol

#1 or 3 for me.

If you go with 3, I'd center Five Hundred at the top.

I like #1 for its simplicity. I also think since it is a tournament chip, the Sahara brand doesn’t need to be as strong. Maybe reducing the logo and increasing the denom would work well. For the same reason, a tournament chip may not need the Las Vegas Nevada, which would simplify it further.

I can only agree with most of the previous comments: #1 is the clear favorite for me. For my taste, #2 is too busy in relation to the cash chip inlay, and #3 is out for me as well because I'm not a fan of sides A and B. What I like about #1 is that it has the same structure and placement for text+denom as the cash chip inlay. Did you consider using the hotel logo from the cash chip for the tournament inlays as well? Since the tournament inlay is black and white, it would be distinctive enough without being too different from the cash set even while using the hotel logo. I also think the idea with the camel and the Bedouin is very well chosen, but it also sets it apart from the cash set. As I said, I think the tourney design is very nice, but I didn't want to leave my final thoughts unspoken...

Can't wait to see the progress....

Thank you everyone who participated and for your feedback. We have a clear winner.

Wow. With milled chips, the labels can really be placed into the recess very easily. I’m very satisfied with the result. Gear send me a bracket sample to determine the exact diameter. The recess is slightly larger than 1". 25.6 mm instead of 25.4 mm, but this way the label fits perfectly flush. That really makes a difference.

Once again, many thanks to everyone who took part in the survey and for the detailed responses. I think this design was a good choice.
