I just purchased my first Paulson cash game set and I’m super excited! It's a mixed set, but nonetheless, it's an upgrade from my Outlaw Clay Amazon set. With that, I'm going to need a chip case and some chip racks that fit Paulson's well. Also looking for something that isn't going to break the bank, I'm already over my budget on the chips (don't tell my wife). Thanks for looking!

**Roughly 700-800 Chips**

I would say Apache 4800 is best case for durability. If you want to display the chips then get a birdcage
Do you think the Apache 3800 would work for roughly 800 chips? Any recommendations on the birdcage?

If birdcage get a 1000 ct

An Apache 3800 can hold 1000 snug and 4800 can probably hold 2000

Apache 4800 or even the 3800 if you have a set of 800. 4800 is overkill for 800 chips set. I have both and love both. Can’t really go wrong

Yes. Get the Apache 3800 and get the China knockoff matsui racks from Tina in a @justincarothers GB.

This was the Jan GB that is just now hitting Justin's doorstep. He will have another one kicking off very soon.

These racks fit minty Paulsons perfectly. And the 3800 is the best case for 700-800. 4800 is WAY too big.

3800 is perfect. I can fit 8 racks easily with room for a few decks as well. Here is photo of my 3800 case set up

Beautiful set up man! Yeah i'm buying the 3800 for sure. Now I just need poker chip trays, Apache website is down atm and Justin's order isn't up. I'm thinking of going to Amazon for the chip trays, but there are so many.

@Hotus777 I have a 3800 that I haven't pulled the foam on yet. If you want to see photos of the 3800 with those china racks arranged in any particular fashion, just let me know. I can take a couple of photos this evening.

Sure that would be great! Something that looks good with ~800 chips and possibly a deck of cards / dealer buttons.

I get my chipco trays from brpropoker.com.

I have a few I got off Amazon that I’m not using I can just send them to you if you’d like.

If interested, I have a custom built case from mycasebuilder. Fits 1000 chips easily with room for other poker stuff. I'll PM you a pic.
Sure thing, i haven't purchased anything yet so the more options / recommendations the better!

How do the chips do in the apache with no lid for the trays? Those chipco trays look pretty solid.

I don’t have lids for mine. My racks are 2 trays deep the foam on the lid keeps the chips secure in place

Perfect! I was worried about the chips getting loose, this gives me some peace of mind.
