The 2008 add-ons were my baby with the interest and development threads, eastwik handled the actual order process due to logistics / CT group buy rules. Those buttons and chips came out sharp! (y)

Thanks @mipevi, added to the OP. Found the interest post as well, I'll add that once I get the reference thread links up for all the group buys, I had to temporary remove them to fit the 15k character limit.

If anyone sees omissions or corrections like this, please let me know, and please don't take offense if you were missed, I assure you it wasn't done intentionally. Searching around over at the blue wall can be very difficult, their search function doesn't take three letter combos so "PNY" doesn't work too well....

Also just an FYI, the OP for Part 3 here is intended to cover all the group buys done over the years. For the most part, I didn't include anyone's custom personal orders. I know there have been several custom PNY add-ons over the years - buttons, plaques, @carlin roulettes, etc. - if you've done a custom add-on, please feel free to post some pictures/links in this thread.

OK, I figured out what I messed up the other night getting the links set up (reminder to not try and set up a big thread at 1am...lol). OP has been updated with reference links for all the group buys I've found so far.

Question - anyone have any information on the development of these plaques?

Looks like they're now offered by @PokerChipsDesign , if I'm not mistaken, they were originally created for a group buy organized by a french chipping forum several years ago. If anyone has any input, please let me know, thanks!

Not asking you do to it, but: it would be a good idea for someone with the time/energy to copy-paste quotes of the contents of the most relevant info from those threads here; in the even that the outside site goes away, at least we can have a record that stay intact here.

Also, if someone could follow the outside reference links over at the Internet Archive, https://archive.org/web/, then we can post links to the Internet Archive's version of the outside page.

For example, I just checked the first reference link in the OP - http://www.chiptalk.net/forum/threads/pny-inspired-25-cent-chip-by-blue-chip-co-closed.23670/.

It was not in the Archive, so I asked for it to be captured. Here's the new (permanent) link:

The archive link requests probably isn't a bad idea, there aren't too many of them, shouldn't take too much time to put together. Copying/pasting all the info the links, on the other hand...

:D:D:D

Most of the referenced threads - especially the group buy threads, have hundreds and hundreds of posts. I've tried to capture the basic information about the chips (dates, folks who ran the GB, description of the final chips (colors/spots), quantities, etc.) but sifting through all of those thread to pull out the interesting portions would be worse than preparing references for a doctorate. 90% of the links and pictures in the threads are broken (both from the site updates and the imageshack debacle), they're just a mess. Having all the main pages archived though, I think that would be a decent fail safe in the event the site goes the way of the dodo.

Don't recall who originally designed them (I'll see if I can find some old info) As far as I know, they were made by OWPS.
107mm plaque - $500, $1k, $5k
82mm plaque - $500 (possibly other denoms, but haven't seen them).

Updated the OP with the buttons from this year's group buy.

Also wanted to add a quick picture of some custom $1k and $5k plaques I had made for my tourney set, done by Sal at Old West Poker Supplies in 2011.

Likewise. I don't think I will be able to find $500 chips, so I might just need to use these instead!

Check in with Sal at Old West Poker Supplies, he did my ceramic PNY plaques (see post #13 above).

In light of how hard it is to get the existing PNY fractions, anyone considered using CPC, hot stamp similar or inlay on a plain textured mold and a new group buy of sorts, or even just the 1000+/- that myself and a few others are interested in ...

I believe I saw a classified thread where someone wants 4 racks of 25c, some other folks chimed in, and I would do 2 racks of 50c

OP updated with new GB plaques and some custom bounty buttons by @Geremie.

Very nice @BonScot ! I relabeled some Santa Ysabel $2s for my PNY $1Ks:

Also realizing I never posted my bounty chips either, 43mm ceramics:

I haven’t posted my “rebuy/reload” chips. They are 49mm ABC ceramics

And the yellow $5,000 plaques. These are ABC ceramics 93mm x 65mm x 5mm
