I pulled my wife's horse trailers and my racecar trailers with two Suburbans for well over 25 years,. Rock solid and loved them.I’ve owned GMC and Chevrolet pickups all my life, never any issues. I prefer GMC overall.

Just bought the grey suburban yesterday!
I still have an 03 Silveraydo hereI bought my 2002 Tacoma new… it’s still my ride and I still love the thing. My son’s almost driving age, so when it comes time… I’m buying another Tacoma.
Good point. I’ve also noticed this on hilly parts of freeways, actually. But I notice it does this regardless of cruise control or not.Tacomas are underpowered for the gearing they run. It makes using the cruise control a waste of time as it continually searches for gears in mountains. I loved the last two Tacomas I had otherwise. Now have a 2022 RAM 1500 Bighorn, crew cab, 6.5 bed with 5.7 Hemi, 3.92 rear. Love everything about this truck so far except parking it and the gas mileage. I chose the rear gearing to tow in mountains.
My last Tacoma was a 2016. That’s when I learned the hard way that the tranny gearing just doesn’t cut it. I looked for solutions on the forums but you couldn’t do a supercharger like TRD in the past. So I went full size truck this time. RAMs are rated at the top 4 years running now so taking my chances with it. I didn’t really have much choice with options. My Taco was totaled and almost no inventory for what I needed.Good point. I’ve also noticed this on hilly parts of freeways, actually. But I notice it does this regardless of cruise control or not.
Objectively, this and perhaps a slightly stiffer suspension than I’d love would be my only two complaints. Otherwise, love mine.
Yeah. I need one too. Impossible to get anytime soon unless I am willing to overpay MSRP.In the market to lease a new truck. Keep being told 4 to 5 months to deliver a factory order.
