Hey all,

tooooootally forgot i kept these chips as souvenirs . Is anyone able to ID the manufacturer? I'm thinking it's Matsui but i've no idea.

The chips are fairly light and don't make much of a metal/clicking sound when one dropped on another.

Would be the third time i've actually handled casino chips but only ones i've actually taken any notice to (others being Star in Sydney and Crown in Mel)

I haven't seen that particular design before, so I can't place it offhand.

That inner ring design doesn't appear in the Matsui catalog. The outer ring is very similar to a common Matsui design, but I don't think it actually is - the proportions seem a bit off to me; the gap is too thin and the spots are too long (compare to the picture below, esp. the Radisson $5), and the thick border around the decal recess is missing.

It also doesn't match anything in the Abbiati catalog. It certainly isn't a Bud Jones chip.

It could have been a custom mold made just for the casino, and if so it could have been produced by anyone. But I think it's unlikely it came from one of the major chip manufacturers, they all tend to have different styles and none of them match that. My guess is that it was produced by a local Korean plastics molding firm that we haven't heard of, but that's just a guess.
