Is the border on these chips original? I do not recall ever seeing Paulson chips with that sort of treatment.

As for the labels - - - if someone doesn't like them, it shouldn't be too difficult to take them off. Unless it turns out these were laminated in place by Gear or someone.

We all know that customized chips tend to plunge in value, no matter the subject matter. It is a rare event for a custom set to be worth its original cost. The primary value is to the original owner.

Yes, the original chips have a giant white inlay that covers the majority of the chip face. The labels are just in the center recess, so the white outer circle you see is part of the original chip inlay.
 
An argument could be made that choosing a giant inlay on the THC mold was what (first) devalued the chips. They seem to be a custom chip with custom inlay. The edge colors are great, however -- bright, saturated, Paulson primary colors.

There are only a few examples of giant inlay on THC that I can even think of or seen photos of. (Casino Miami, some Frank Sinatra (?) tribute chip I saw on the in the past few months in the PCF classfieds, and there was a version of a $1 chip from some cruise ship - Discovery Cruises, maybe. A rack or 2 was up for sale on PCF.)

It cracks me up that these can't even sell for a dollar a chip. The way he walked into that thread he thought he was flipping these immediately and he was going to use "snowflakes'" to bump his post with "liberal tears" and it completely backfired.

If he was banned then he wouldn't be logging in....if you're banned then you can't access the site from that username

Not sure, but he was aggressive and condescending when people ITT thread were asking basic questions about his chips. Most of the posts have been deleted by mods, so no point in looking for the thread.

That and generally other trollish behavior would be my guess.

There’s still no proof or way of proving that he’s actually been banned.

You can't be "banned" from just posting/PM'ing?

I heard second hand (first hand from him though) that he was "banned" and I'm very surprised he hasn't posted anything despite logging in for the last two weeks. Didn't think he had the self-restraint.

Also when I @ his username his name doesn't pop up in a drop down like all the others (why I thought this went with some kind of ban) and even @pltrgyst does even though I know he blocked me :LOL: :laugh:

Well his account is showing unavailable and I remember that thread. He was being attacked and he attacked back. I don't think Trump poker chips should be triggering grown men into hurling insults back and forth but it made for one of the most entertaining threads I've seen in here lol.

I agree on this but he's proven himself numerous upon numerous times to be a large net negative on this community both in threads and via PMs. Unfortunately 99% of the time it seemed to be when he mentioned he'd been inebriated so hopefully the time off will be a learning experience and he comes back as a positive member of the community.

Maybe there was some of that, and i’m not defending that behavior, but there was one member who was asking legitimate questions about his chips before all the drama began. He was aggressive and being childish which doesn’t really help if you actually want
to sell something.

Even Dave/BginGA tried to respond helpfully and FakeNewz acted like a child and went on the attack.
