It does add a layer of security to prevent a counterfeiter from taking a rack of $1s, painting them red and then relabeling them.

That said, in the Boat chips order, the all THC order came back with proofs showing RHC. So either Paulson doesn't know the difference, or they prefer to put out the RHC in the high denoms as they wear faster.

Sadly that and Goldstrike would probably be the last to close in Tunica. Those are really the only good casinos left down there. With the whole region dying I am guessing we are going to see a few more close soon.

I would say it is more likely because RHC take a larger inlay and the $5 chips tend to be the ones that casinos issue special releases on because they want people taking them home. Grand Opening, Anniversary, Happy New Year, Chinese New Year etc.
