So, I've gone down the most terrifying rabbit hole in chipping and figured we need a thread for all the beautiful single collections/wall displays.

My start to this endless money pit. 4 more Michael's cases and a large 117 chip display from sfdisplay on eBay are on the way as well as several more singles.

Thanks Matt. I can’t enough of other people’s customs. When I drink alone, these chips keep me company.
If I ever do a custom set I’ll make sure they get in one of your display frames.

I have to scan these and I put them on top of the cases and put in the cases in big chunks. Requires some rearrangement as I put stuff in alphabetical order so you don’t want to do it very often. I think I am current capacity so I’m going to need to buy more cases.

Would love to share what I have but most of my stuff is in storage waiting for my new home to be finished. I. had stopped collecting sample sets a while back but still add an occasional single from Vegas. Once I get back into my home I look forward to putting my Paulson color and spot samples sets up on the wall. Really proud of completing this one and cannot wait for it to go back up.

I will have to add pics when I get into my home in February. I wish it where sooner because The racks I have here are multiplying and need a new home!

There are 294 non-Nevada inlaid fractional clay casino chips (ignoring some Gardena duplicates). I own 281, and would like the remaining 13. A sample, including all Illinois, Indiana, and Kansas chips:

I own a few international fracs too, from Europe, Africa, Australia, and even Israel. But they are much less important and I am not a completist with those at all. One day I will display them properly.

Beautiful Insanity. Where do you get the button case?
I’ve been trying to figure that out, unsuccessfully. Those were the first cases I bought to display chips before I found SFDisplay and started with the cases that have doors. I threw them in storage and pulled them out years later when I wanted to display the buttons.
It’s been such a long time since I bought themI don’t remember where they came from. There were no receipts in my poker stuff records.
If anyone finds good button display solutions, I’m looking too. I’m in a bit of a jam because I am at absolute capacity in then now and have quite a few new buttons to put away. This is going to sound wierd, but I need to go through my crawl space and attic to see if I have any more. I think I might have had 3 of them and there are only 2 on the walls

Love those casino queen chips. Are these just live Illinois? Or only Paulson Illinois chips?

I'd love an easy way to show them off but still be able to pick one and use it in a game. If anyone has a setup that works let us know!

There’s way more chips in drawers that I don’t have room to display. I also stopped scarfing up samples after a while.

without more wall space, I think it would look super gawdy (crammed) to add more cases in spots that wouldn’t look “right”... so I’ve move to a quality over quantity mindset.

Yes, these cases are just open shelves, and actually good for what you're describing, but I have about 3 times too many buttons in them. If you try to take one out, there's a pretty good chance a bunch of buttons will come sliding off the shelf. If you look closely, I have them overlapping by about 75%. I wish I could buy more of these.

Here's another display maker who sells through etsy. Looks like he does good work. The SFDisplay cases feel a little like they were made in China.

Maybe this guy would do a bespoke version that would work.

I got the inserts for less than $20 each many years ago. The frames were heavily discounted too. I like the look of the frames, but miss being able to handle the chips.
