Still above water but barely
One of the best beers I ever had was a cold pitcher of PBR after moving my son from his third floor apartmentI am the dude with the PBR. I like mostly any beer, just not the sweet/spiced stuff so much. Bill hosts a great game!
Deep and agressive .5/1E tonight at a friend's house. Table by Jarque.
In play, my Athenian Owls V1. Top value (charcoal) ND chip conveniently played as 50E.
In for 750E, out for near 400EA maniac member of the crew had the cards going his way.

You dear sir, are a good host!Last night was my biggest win ever - up about 750 BBs! Of course I had some good cards, but I was playing well too. Highlights:
- Advertising early with AKs 5 bet all PF with 200 BBs. I got a call from the LAG with TT and hit my K.
- Good reads - calling the capable OMC type's river bet on a flush and straight board, the LAG shoving the turn with air when I had an overpair, calling the river shove from the tight rec that overplayed KK when there was a high probability of set over set.
- Value betting, including lots of thin value.
A pattern has developed over the last couple of years. When I have a losing night, I'm usually down around 10 - 40 BBs. Rarely more, and never multiple buy-ins. My winning nights are usually about 40 to 100s of BBs.
Watching Bart Hanson's call-ins on YouTube have helped me a lot. Now all I can think about is Vegas and the fucking Mirage
RIP Mirage

Couple notable hands I have to share since I probably had a 90% vpip and was incredibly lucky. To start the night I called an all-in on the turn with just a 10 (just thought i would give action because why not haha) ran it twice and hit a 10 on both run outs to crack aces.View attachment 1669237
In back to back hands I cracked kings with T8 and Q6. View attachment 1669238View attachment 1669239
It culminated toward the end of the night with a double board PLO bomb pot. All in heads up on the turn and and I river quads to beat the better full house. Better to be lucky than good I guess haha.View attachment 1669242

I was very confused at first by the angle. I thought you had masterfully balanced a birdcage as a head rest.View attachment 1669625

Oh man I feel bad. Half these guys didn’t know the game and I got rockets the first hand (and ten hands later).

Love these $1s. They weren’t my favorite denom initially but they’re quickly growing!
We got only 1 blurple chip out by the end of the game. Maybe my 2 racks of $20s and rack of $100s is not truly necessary…
