Not Mine Not so sure....Beware (1 Viewer)

I’ve gotten a couple good deals over the years from new sellers with low to no feedback (presumably because other buyers thought there was some risk.). But the truth is, eBay is a pretty safe place for buyers. If you like the deal, go for it.

A new user, but with a user name of "theDealMaker13" ?

If someone here picks them up, pm me and let me know how it works out.

"This premium vintage poker chips set comes with 300 pure clay chips for premium sound and three different colors - red, green and blue."

How odd, the red and white chips are THC but the blues look like some kind of diamond mold, never seen that for starburst.

It’s not crazy. We know that Paulson made compressed clays on the diamond mold. The case looks vintage, the chips look right - I’d guess this was just a slightly odd mix that came out of the Paulson retail store, which, from what I’ve read, was more like a factory outlet for chips they didn’t sell to their clients.

Doesn't eBay have extra protection for the sellers/buyers? This seems like a snap pick-up to me. I would grab them before some idiot messages him and tells him how low they are priced. Not that they are that cheap but basically getting a free rack and case at $299

Weird, I didn’t put it on watch or anything, and yet I just got a better offer. I thought you had to be watching an item for that to happen.

eBay allows sellers to offer discounts to “eligible users” that have viewed an item. I’ve received similar offers/notifications before after viewing an item without adding it to my Watchlist.

eBay has huge protections for buyers. I can attest…I’ve been a seller on the losing-end of a few disputes, and the buyer ALWAYS comes out on top.

How is it still there. Seems like a great deal.

Not always. I sold something for like $200. Buyer claimed it was never delivered. I provided eBay all the proof and they released my funds. In this case, my buyer had a new account, so he was almost certainly a scammer - that may have helped my cause.

Same. I sold a game as still in shrink wrap. The wrap was in bad shape, but the box was fine and the contents were the same as left the factory (for a game that was discontinued). Pics documenting everything. Buyer filed a dispute, eBay looked at the listing (description and pics) and released the money to me.

I sold an item that the buyer must’ve looked at under the microscope and was not happy. I accepted a return even though it was listed “no returns”.
Buyer sent it back failed to put all the parts back in the box. eBay asked that I work it out with the buyer, but while the buyer and I were negotiating, they refunded him from my bank account anyway. I asked eBay what they thought the chances were that he mails the missing parts back now that he has been refunded?
“Sorry, the case has been closed”
…and I never got the parts back.

F eBay.
