Tourney Non denom chips for a tourney? (5 Viewers)

With the way Paulsons have gone up in value, wonder how much my old banished dice chips have increased? :ROFLMAO:

Mummel: Get one good tourney set and use it for both games for now. 25 chip can equal a quarter, 100 can equal a dollar (tel them there's a period 1.00) etc. When starting out many of us did this I'm sure, and I personally never had trouble with asking "what is this 500 chip worth"? It was $5 btw.

That's what I was wondering. I have a very nice set of denominated chips (hotstamped solids), but they don't have a T5000 chips. I bought a rack of non-denominated starburst chips that go really well with them, but obviously they are non-denominated. Since it's just one chip without a denomination (and a high value one at that), I don't foresee a problem.
This works fine - Commerce Casino has daily tournaments where the chip they use for 5K is not denominated. Even the scatterbrained fish are able to deal with it.

Otherwise I must tell you, I ran a monthly tournament for the better part of 3 years without denominated chips, and I got the question every tournament, every time. "How much are the greens worth?" or similar. I even used standard colors, didn't matter. Every tournament, every time.
