To the douchey lady across the table from me during a 70 entry bar tourney tonight. You know who you are. You're the one who called clock on me after 20 seconds of me thinking about whether to call an all-in river shove by another player. You're also the one who makes a 10x pot bet pre, then 10 minutes later vigorously chatises me for taking down a bunch of preflop limpers with a 2x pot bet (holding 10/10 in EP). You're the one who also busts out this nice 80 year old gentleman, and then says to him (snarkily) "I kicked you to the curb"... as he's walking away?
No
When the conversation started up about good local home games, I kept silent (I don't do my recruiting at tourneys like this). However, one of the players, another nice lady at the table who is the sister of one of my regs (and has played my game a couple times) pipes in and starts bragging about my setup and game atmosphere. The douchey lady asks me how much I charge for rake, and when I explain I wouldn't charge rake to my attendees, because I consider them all friends/guests. The douchey lady starts getting super nice and sweet. She starts hinting for, and eventually begging for, an invite...
Um Hell no. Lol.
I think this lady felt like she was leveling the table with her antics. It didn't affect my play in the least, and was almost comical.
Feel free to share your examples of douchey behavior at a poker table. I'm not talking about spirited debauchery, but truly douchey people. It's an even better story if they later get felted by you.
