We’ve been playing T10,000 tournaments with my Majestic’s but now I’ve acquired enough CPS chips to switch to those. My problem is I couldn’t get my hands on any T-25’s so I’m looking for a structure and starting chip amounts that begins with T100’s. I have searched the sight and couldn’t find anything so I’m looking for help. Usually have anywhere from 7 to 12 players. Maybe T25000 would be good?

Thanks in advance!

What is your CPS set breakdown, and how long do you want the tournament to last?

I have 300 T100 200 T500 200 T1000 100 T5000 and 100 T25000. Tournament should last about 3.5 to 4 hours

Okay maybe something like this....

Your current blind structure has inconsistent transition rates, whilst this structure offers an alternating 50% and 33% with occasional 25% transitions, with the overall transition rate of around 40%. Assuming 15-minute levels are used, your tournament would last 3H 30M + Breaks.

Just had a custom set of chips made, had no 25's on purpose. I use the Aria's blind structure with big blind ante. Players have reacted very positively to the structure. I use 25 min blinds with T16,000 in chips.

I like @andy699669 's structure here.

With your chips, I would be targeting a 15/5/11/2 stack for T25K. You should be able to accommodate 18 players comfortably with that.

So I did my job and I searched the forum, and man there's just not a lot of stuff for tournaments starting at the $100 chip.

I was hoping to get an update on this here, as I know that not having particular starting stacks just really turn off some players. I host an easy going group, but after I move not sure what I'll run into, and besides I'd like to do it right anyways. I have to pick up an addon for some chips, so I'm wondering which direction to head in.

T25K, these are really the two I saw more than once, but I don't see how that second configuration works well:
15/5/11/2
10/8/10/2

This particular tourney is just for the local yahoos (it's as much social parts drinking and razzing as it is poker) so looking for a quicker game. The aforementioned schedule (below) put the game in range of 3 hours, where would you inject big blind ante?

Thanks all for taking a look.

IF planning on using a BBA (I wouldn't), I'd add an opening 100/100 level and start the BBA from the get-go.

Structure looks fine as-is, but can't calculate total time it will run without knowing the # of players and starting stack size.

12 players @ 25k should end around level 14 in that configuration (no BBA). Math says 13 min blinds to get it done in 3 hrs. A bit harsh.

This should get you done in 3-4 hrs: 7 - 10 players, 25k SS with 20 min blinds, 11+ go to 15 min or drop to 20k.

A single-table event with 15K stacks (150bb, if starting with 100/100) and 15-minute levels will run about 3:15 plus breaks with no antes, and probably right at 3 hours including breaks with a BBA. Getting it any shorter is gonna be a shove-fest one way or another, either by using smaller starting stacks or lightning-quick blind levels. Using bigger stacks is not an option unless you want to cut the blind times dramatically.

I'd go with 10/8/10 stacks, and use 10 x T5000 chips to color-up the T100s and T500s. With ten players, that requires a 300-chip set with 110 chips in play at tournament end.
