Hi All - I am new to the site and just posted for my first group buy. I mostly play cash games, and so both my first purchases are cash sets. I am interested in learning more about how to best navigate the site. It can be a little difficult. Still learning. Looking forward to getting some new chips!

Welcome! Good job taking the first step and admitting you’re a nerd. Nerds are cool now, so are poker chips.

I suggest to get in the classifieds and buy sets that you’ll be able to felt. Then after a bit, sell them when you get new chips. Repeat.

Most casino or unaltered chips hold their value. I personally have knocked a few bucks off what I paid when I’ve sold casino sets. You should see what me and my kids do with these chips!

One big thing I’ve noticed is that custom sets don’t have the re-sale. If you plan on going custom anything consider them keepers. Just my HUMBLE opinion
