I used to live right by the Braddock Metro as well!

Now we settled down closer to Belvoir / Wegmans.

Welcome to PCF @billkell. Spent all of my life in Virginia before leaving last year to take a job with Fed Ex in Texas.
As a kid we lived not too far up Rt1 from you closer to the Hybla Valley area before moving to Annandale in the late 70s. Went to Annandale High till 88 before my folks moved us down to the Stafford/Fredericksburg area where I continued to still work from till last year.

Lots of PCF members from Virginia and Maryland not too far from you depending on the 24/7 TRAFFIC there of course. ;)
Welcome aboard.

Thanks for the warm welcome all!

Poker chips remind me of many fun times with my father in casinos. Going to try to build a set and then hopefully stop being so terrible at poker.

Ha! Never thought I'd hear the name "Hybla Valley" again! We used to spend most of our leisure time at the Mount Vernon Tennis Club, just off Rt 1 and Mt. Vernon Highway...

Many found memories of NOVA Larry. I have an aunt that still lives not too far from Pohick Bay Area. My grandmother used to live just a few miles out of Old Town on Taney Ave just off of Duke St. near Foxchase.

I remember when it used to be a long distance phone call from Alexandria down to Woodbridge. :ROFLMAO: Now it literally feels like NOVA from the Thornburg exit in Spotsylvania all the way up the 95 corridor.
