I just received my sample of the new hybrid Greek Mold from @justincarothers
I own a number of cards mold Tina ceramics and I haven't been terribly impressed. The feel isn't bad. The shuffle is tolerable. However, the spinners make them a little bit of a pain to move even short stacks.
The new hybrid Greek mold really doesn't suffer from any of those issues. There are zero spinners in the sample set I was sent. The sound is a little more muted than with the cards mold, so it seems a little more natural. They also shuffle as well as any of the higher end chips in my collection.
I think the less immediately noticeable, but still highly valued improvement is the color getting down into the groove of the mold. (I don't know the technical name for this)
For me, this is a game changer when considering another set. Throw in that @Gear is already set up for labels on these, I would say there will be some jaw-dropping customs.
This is one of each I was sent. The colors are more vibrant than this picture represents.
