My Journey As A Professional Poker Player (49 Viewers)

We are SB with :ah::ac::jh::7c: and just call the $5 rock

Multiway to a flop of

:js::9h::5h:

I lead right out for 25

BB Fish calls

Aggro button makes it 75, we call, fish folds

Turn :ad:

We check. Button thinks a bit, bets 100. We checkraise pot to around 500

He thinks FOREVER. He eventually calls with about 400 behind

River :4d:

I pot, he folds

We are in SB with :ah::jh::ts::3s:

We see a flop of :th::td::9d:

Checked to tight shortstacked lady in CO who bets pot

Button fish calls, we call

Turn :5s:

We check, she shoves her last $80, we call and go twice

1st river: :tc:
2nd river: :js:

she has 99xx and we scoop! The run bad is over!
Somewhere on Facebook some lady is posting about some lucky s.o.b weeble wobble who sucked out on her...

Nice. You were 25% to win on the turn. Sucking out on two rivers is a 1/16 chance or less, or about 6%. You have exorcised the demons.

I booked a win of $1,238 for the night. Back at it tomorrow (Friday) and already bought my entry for the Saturday $400 NLHE tourney "freezeout" (one entry per flight only) which is the last Day 1 flight of this 100K guaranteed tourney.

Most of the tougher tourney pros are at Hardrock Hollywood for the WPT, so the field should be softer in Tampa. Still on a 6-7 game cashing streak in tourneys, THINK BINK!

I mean, I've been losing as a 93% and 96% favorite, I was fucking due! Too bad she only had about a couple hundred bucks. Seems I lose the pots with $1500+ in them to the massive suckouts.

If you are all-in, in Omaha, with just 2 pair... aren't you the maniac?

Sometimes. I didn't even have top 2 pr. But I had raised to 175 on the flop and his shove was only another 300 on top

Given what I know of his style I wasn't overly concerned. Generally I'm not going to war in this spot

I turned the 9 and he missed his draw on the river

Those chips are some of the literal worst. I get angry everytime I see them. Especially knowing that they have better ones to use.

You can be even angrier. Starting stacks used to be 30, now only 20k

They also removed the first 2 lvls

100/100

100/100/100

So now we start at 100/200/200 lol

We are MP with :kc::kh: Blinds 200/300/300

UTG limps, we raise to 1500

CO calls 1500

BB raises to 4500 with about 11k behind

We shove, BB snaps in before CO can fold, I know it's Aces, he flips over :as::ac:

I'm praying for hearts but hit a flop of :ks::qc::7s: instead

Turn :4s:, Uh-oh, don't do it dealer!

River :kd: And I bust him. Looks like the Weeble Wobble is lucky, thanks again Forest!

Meh. I care less about that. I don't mind removing early levels. Most of tournament poker is in the 50bb and less stack range anyway. Early levels are just a hindrance to hourly rate.

Ordered two hot cocoas made with milk and whip cream

Waitress brought them made with water and no whipcream

No matter what happens now my day is irrevocably ruined!

They probably had whipped cream on them when she picked them up, but gone by the time they got to you
