My first custom CPC set has arrived! (1 Viewer)

Beautiful! How much did the set cost? How many total chips?
I think it was roughly $1450. I ordered 650 total chips, but then asked for some extras in case of lost or broken chips. So, all together it's about 680 total.

I've got to say.... that is a really top notch inlay design. I like beaches and islands and the tropics and your design might be one of my favorite CPC's I've seen come across the site.

Big congrats!

Thank you. They turned out even better than I thought possible. I gave p5woody a general outline and premise, and he ran with it. He did an outstanding job with the inlay design.

They actually arrived Tuesday, but I've been ridiculously busy this week. I wanted to oil them up before posting. Big thanks to p5woody for designing this really unique and cool inlay for me. Also, a thank you to David at CPC for offering custom chips with such high quality and getting them to me in under 2 months. That's pretty fast in my book. I think they turned out great. They are pricey, but I have no regrets except not saving up and getting them years ago. Lol. Here's a few pics. Sorry about the quality. Just snapped a few with my phone. There's one pic from when I was cleaning them up. The oiled chips on the left side and the untouched chips to the right. Boy, they really clean up nicely. The colors look even better in person. That likely has a lot to do with my camera quality. Can't wait to show these off at my June home game. Going from Majestic China clays to these. I think it'll stun my group.
How do you like the majestic? I have the cheap dice chips right now and was gonna upgrade to the majestics. Do you think I should just save a little more cash and get something custom or something like some clay paulsons?

They are my preferred chip vs all non custom chips. My old set is for sale if you're interested. The price gap between dice chips and China clays or ceramics is quite healthy. However, the gap between China clays and ceramics vs a custom set is astronomical. It really all depends on your budget. I sold my Taylor guitar to fund my custom set. That said, the majestic chips are a massive upgrade over the dice sets imo. Plus, I love having a chip with denominations on it. I think they look, sound, and feel more like casino chips. Message me if you're interested in the majestic's. I have been meaning to post them in the classifieds, but keep forgetting to when I actually have the time. I purchased them almost a year ago, but only played with them three times with my home game group. They just need to be re-oiled.

It's probably just the lighting and white balance in the photos, but that CPC Red on the fivers looks a lot brighter than on my Hels. At first I thought you picked Mandarin Red. Looks good! Bright colors fit the theme well.

Has anyone mentioned how great the $1 chip is yet? :D

Congrats on an all-around fanstastic set!

So I'm new here and looking to build a set of my own. What website did you create and order these from? Thanks
Click on the "Links" drop-down at the top of the page, and go to the CPC Chip Design Tool. Then give up other hobbies, as you'll spend countless hours designing poker chips. :)

Thanks. I'm looking to make a set that is as close to casino quality as possible. Are these chips that type of quality? I couldn't find any prices. Is there a representative that could maybe walk me through it that way I'm not bugging this forum with all these questions?

Classic Poker Chips are fantastic. @David Spragg is I’m engaged member here. Actual compressed clay chips. Similar to Paulson chips, although they are different in feel, look, and color. Many will say that Paulsons are better, but if you want fully custom clay chips, CPC is the only game in town.

Click on “custom chips”. It has everything you need to know. There is a pricing tab. Price will depend greatly on mold, edgespots, colors, etc.

Top quality ceramic chips from @ABC Gifts and Awards are a great option for custom chips as well.

As is the mantra here: get samples.
