Curious what sort of feedback I get on an issue that happened last Saturday.
I hosted an 8 player 1/2 game with 7 of my regulars and one new player. Friend of a regular…
After the game ended I paid everyone out, counting their stacks myself to ensure accuracy.
On Sunday I was cleaning up and racking up some stacks left on the table. After I finished racking all the chips I noticed 5 $5 chips missing. All of the buyins and cash outs lined up at the end of the night.
At first I messaged the group to see if somehow 5 chips ended up in someone’s pocket. This has never happened so figured it was unlikely. I’ve looked under/around the table but came up empty.
Am I wrong for considering the new player may have swiped 5 chips from a stack after cash out? This was the first time playing with my newly finished flamingo solid set so there was talk about the chips that night.
I have some extra red solids so the chips are easily replaced but it’s the trust factor I’m struggling with.
New player seemed like an overall good guy. Played well and got along with everyone.
