Surely someone needs a mint grail rack to be the centerpiece of your collection, bump.

Anyone know how many of these minty ones are out there? I heard 3-4 racks…but would like to attempt to confirm.

Any chance you could narrow down what you’re looking for as far as a trade goes? I have a lot of leaded inlaid THC racks, but don’t have a good sense of what specifically may be of interest. Are you looking to trade for a $2200 rack (rack for rack trade)? Are you looking for multiple racks that add up to $2200? Denominator preference? Color preferences? Etc.

My guess is that would be nearly impossible to confirm since likely 10s or 100s of thousands of these were ordered by the casino throughout their existence.

3 mint barrels of these auctioned off for $730 on July 22, 2022. Haven’t seen them come up in quantity other than that, but I haven’t been around that long to know the full history of their quantity existence.

I don't have any source just speculating based on being a $1 chip at a large casino, could be way off and they were a limited run.

The spotted chip with the bird was only in circulation in 2010 for 1 year and then replaced. Prior to that the spotted with a large $1 denom was on the floor starting in 2004. One year of spotted birds and then in 2011 the solid with bird came out and has been in circulation since then with no changes. Yes, the Spotted Bird is by far the most rare out the Flamingo chips. Even more rare are seeing them come up for sale. I have been lucky to have owned over the 1200 spotted birds and over 700 spotted with the large denom. I have over the years culled out the non bird chips but still have "a few" of the spotted birds in my sanctuary.
