Hey, I just purchased some ASM blanks (at least ~15 years old).

I'd like to mill and eventually apply a label. I'm trying to get my local guitar luthier to do the milling. He seems keen and has experience with fine detailed workmanship.

I know most people say use a 7/8" Magnate bit - which I will get, but does anyone know if that bit will work with these chips? I'm travelling right now and do not have access to any tools by which to measure the inlay.

Buy the Magnate. 7/8 is pretty much the only working option on sizing
