ASKED PRICE : 1500€

Shipping costs (from France) and insurance are on the buyer.

$20 ea for the $1s and $25s, and $5 ea for the $5s, but the hotstamped 1s are worth less

I'd sell all the $25s I have for $20 each. The lot was likely purchased for about the offered sale price back in the day with $15 ones, $3 fives, and $5 twenty-fives (~$1900 USD). Thanks to @cyberottweiler for passing these back to the community at his much lower original purchase price! A $0 chip rental cost is always a great deal, well done sir!

Buzz is good. This is one of those threads for which there should be some way to be able to mark this thread as SOLD, but still allow comments. Great set at what I seems to be a 'reasonable' price.

I've always thought that some of the cost of paying for high-end and rare sets like this could be thought of as a 'finders fee' because the time it would take anyone themselves to try to find another set like this could be months, years, or forever.

I was lucky enough to have been an owner of a rack of Mapes $5s once, I bought what I think was one of the last racks of $5s that Spinneti's had for sale a few years ago. I ended up deciding to trade them away for some Nevada Lodge TRK chips. Partly because I got a decent offer, and partly to prevent myself from the all the time and $$$ it would take to build a Mapes set. :)
