Here's the thread for pr0ns of all my chips.

***********************
1) DRAGONARAS
***********************

"Hic sunt dracones" is latin for "here be dragons", my table's signature.
It's also the title of another great darkjazz band, the Kililanjaro Darkjazz Ensemble, their album might be listened to here.
This Dragonara set is the achievement of 7 years of patience. That's how long I had been looking for a playable amount of B&G chips. Dragonara are also the chips that got me into chipping for good.
After thousands and thousands of chips bought and sold, these remain my favorite, I'll never part with them. The hundos are perfect gold coins on the table, the 500 plaque is the best ever, not to mention the beloved oversized 500 white chips.
All the chips I own are in absolute new condition (except for fracs).

There's a smallish cash game set:
100 x 0,50
120 x 1
120 x 5
10 x 10 plaque
10 x 25 plaque
5 x 50 plaque
1 x large 500 golden plaque

And there's a good-sized tourney set:

320 x 25
320 x 100
120 x 500
25 x 100 plaque (used as the "1000" value once in a while)
10 x 500 jeton (used as the "5000" value once in a while - I know it's weird, but they would never ever see the felt otherwise)

What I'm looking for
I won't sell any but I'm still looking to buy a few:
- I'll buy any "LM1" chip as long as it's bright blue (99% of those 1 chips are greyish, only the chips in New condition have kept their shiny blue)
- Same with the "LM5", I'll buy any chip in new or mint condition, but I don't think there are any in circulation. Never seen other than mine in 6 years.

**************************
2) PINK PUSSYCATS
**************************

Here's another set I loooove so much.
Those bright colors (hot pink, day green, arc yellow), this perfect hotstamp, the great condition: I don't know if it's good "only at the pink pussycat", but it sure is damn good.

According to my readings, those chips were used to buy drinks at the strip-club, not to play cards with. I'm not sure it's right, but it would explain why most of them are mint / uncirculated.
Chips were manufactured in 1966. There was a first edition with a mistake: the dollar symbol had been forgotten. Chips were quickly retired, I never saw any.

My set is a small heads-up / SH set, but I love it. Those almost full racks turn me crazy.

Breakdown:
90 x $1
93 x $2
95 x $5

What I'm looking for:
Any $1 or $5 chip. Will buy singles.
Willing to trade my $2 for your $1 or $5.

Please, help me finish those racks!!!

*********************************
3) LAS VEGAS MIXED SET
*********************************

Here's my Las Vegas Mixed Set.
I was looking for "old school" casinos, with a great inlay showing the casino or its emblem.
I love this set even though it has flaws that will upset some of you: different molds, different manufacturers, different condition…
Tropicanas are the only used chips. They're played as quarters. Most of my games don't need $25 chips but it would be too bad not to use them. They are the 1972 edition.
The horseshoes are jewels. The Arodie mold is perfectly soft and light. They're still looking sharp for 1951 chippies! :)

Breakdown:

100 x $25 Tropicanas
200 x $1 Golden Nugget
100 x $5 Bourbon Street
20 x $25 Horseshoe

What I'm looking for:
- As many Golden Nugget $1 as possible (1992 or 1996 edition)
- A few more Horseshoe $25
- One mint Tropicana $25 rack

***********************
4) CERCLE CONCORDE
***********************

Those are B&G chips from the one of the many Parisian cardroom that were closed by the police in recent years. This Cercle shut its doors in 2007. Three years later, the same management opened, at the same place, the Cercle Cadet. It closed also, in 2013.
This cash game set has incredible colors, for every value, from the grey frac to the classy 200€ chip.
Other denoms exist but I don't own them: 4€ / 5€ / 100€ / 500€.

Breakdown:
100 x 0,50€
200 x 2€
140 x 10€
100 x 50€
60 x 200€

**************************************************************************************
5) AVIATION CLUB DE FRANCE (ACF) - PAULSON TOURNAMENT SET
**************************************************************************************

I had been hunting down ACF chips since the first day I stepped into this magnificient Circle back in 2000.
ACF's cash game set by B&G are the chips that pushed me into chipalcoolism for good.
In 2002, when France switched its currency from Francs to Euros, I tried to buy the chips, but couldn't succeed. 13 years later, last summer, a friend and I won the auctions for all the ACF chips (except the main poker cash game chips).
Here are pix of the perfect tournament set by Paulson. Those chips were used for high buy-in events, such as the WPT tourneys, whereas the ceramic tourney set was used in the regular tournaments.
Enjoy, another pr0n will come with everything ACF related.

100 x 25
200 x 100
100 x 500

60 x 10 000
40 x 25 000

[Sorry, but no, I don't have any of those to sell, not even a sample, not even a single chip :(]

********************
6) MGM GRAND
********************

Here's my latest set, I've drooling over them for years and finally sold my Ambassador Plaza to get them.
I love them in every way, perfect inlay, perfect mold, the lion changing colors, the wonderful $3, $10 and $20 denoms...
Here goes the pix...

What I'm looking for:

Any $3, $10 or $20 chip

*********************
7) TR KING SETS
*********************

I had been looking for TR Kings for a long time, and had the opportunity to get two sets almost simultaneously.
I've not been disapointed, to say the least: I love the mold and how the chips feel.
You all know the King's Crown, my set is good for a small 10-player SNG.
The "MDR" travel set is perfect. It's not my initials, but "MDR" is French for "LOL", so I'm good with it :)

Those dragon 100s and 500s.... just wow.

Also thanks for the turn-on to the Kilimanjaro Darkjazz Ensemble. Pretty chill mood music.

Long time no pr0n...
But today is a very sad day for my beautiful city of Paris.
So I decided to stay at home, take a few pictures, and post two pr0ns.
Here are the two chip sets I own from the closed Parisian Circles of ACF and Concorde.
It's a very small, but joyful, chip tribute.
A way of saying life goes on, you don't scare me.
But still I really wish those terrorists morons could shove a couple racks up their rotten asses.

Love the Bourbon Street $5's. Looking for 1 rack myself.

Also love those peach MGM quarters.

I'm a sucker for a good mixed casino set.

Very late to the party, but WOW...As amazing as these collections are (and great pics btw), I'm even more impressed with your determination to get what you want at all cost. I'm brand new to the part and my first and only collection are these Cleveland Horseshoe chips. Now I'm scared what this might lead to!!! You remind me of a gemologist who cares nothing about diamonds, unless they are colorless, flawless and big, and then he'll do anything to obtain them.

Thanks a lot!
Horseshoes are a pretty good start to say the least :) We'll see where you stand after 10 years of collecting ;)

I remember all those orders and good deals with NJ with great pleasure... Excellent memories!
That plaque group buy was awesome!
