In my business, the saying goes, “Good, Fast, Cheap … you can only pick two.”
It seems you’ve been at this for less than a minute and have posted about 300 wanted ads in that time, so I’m assuming Fast is a requirement. That rules out
CPC, and leaves you with either Good or Cheap as your final option.
In addition, Wanted ads are extremely inefficient. Even if you’re prepared to throw down the big bucks, you still have to realize that PCF community is small & most IOC owners aren’t lurking each day scrolling the Wanted ads hoping to unload the very set they worked hard to acquire … in other words, it might take more than a week (or even a month) for the right seller to even
see it, regardless of your offer … and even then, money may not be their motivation for selling. Or just start adding commas to your offer prices and I promise you’ll find what you want.
I just joined in January and am closing in on 10,000 chips,
most of which are completed or nearly completed sets … so I know the feeling of wanting it all right now. I’ll likely be posting my first wanted ad this week — but only because I’m legitimately stuck on a few spots — up until now I’ve just scanned For Sale ads, had great conversations with other chippers, and helped out those I could (I even offered to help you close one of your Wanted ads at below
anyone’s cost, so I must say I’m currently a bit wary to even open your daily Wanted posts). Beyond that, I trust the “chips will fall where they will”. It’s worked out well, so far. For me, at least.
Just a different perspective. Good luck on your hunt but don’t forget the hunt is part, if not all, of the fun.
