I would go with our old AHL team, which is also the travel team I grew up playing on and the rink I worked at throughout high school, since it was the team's practice facility too. Maybe put some advertisements on it like Bauer, Whataburger, Enron (kidding), etc.

I make my art available through @rjdev7 , this is his operation afterall, hes who will handle your order. I'm just a dude that dumps too much time into illustrator and sometimes makes ok looking things lol

Oh wow, love the Flamingo round. I need to measure the tables we play on, but might have to go for one (or more) round topper.

My playing surface diameter is just shy of 48" on my round.

Rails are 6", so this is for a 60" round.

My personal one for 4-5 person games is 47", I've drawn the flamingo at 48", but the good news is, round is extremely easy to adjust per surface

What’s the best way to measure? Just a little under the rail so the pad can tuck under?

If you have a rail that can be moved / raised, so that the topper can tuck under, I would say to add 1" around the topper dimensions that you measure.
If you can't (e.g. Barrington stock tables don't allow room underneath the rails without modifying them) then you should measure the room inside from rail to rail (one measurement for length and one for width).

Well I had to fix a few things, one the text shading didn't match exactly between the oval and the round


And no one bothered to tell me my dot over the i looked less like a circle and more like a strange shaped mole I should've had a doctor look at....

I thought it was intentional to give it more of a handwritten feel.

I think though the brightness around the Flamingo text on this one seems to over power instead of blending in more with the background like the previous. I'm mainly looking at the round design.

I'm long overdue to teach myself the ropes to Illustrator. I use Photoshop daily for work (really basic stuff, mostly), so I just use that for all my design needs (including the topper I posted on Saturday) and once its done just open the PSD in Illustrator to convert it to an AI file as requested by most printers. But I know I'd be a lot more efficient if I just learned Illustrator to begin with. If anyone has any recommended topics to research/learn as a rookie, anything is welcome!

It felt like a steep learning curve when I first started using it but like @aaron2786 said, YouTube is your friend. I’ve been working on illustrator for 2 years now and still learn something new all the time.
