Culling the herd.

Slowly removing duplicates and chips in rough condition.

I’ve decided to keep it down to 2 racks of 5s. The financial investment to build another rack is astronomical and doesn’t make sense. Especially considering I think I have a majority of them now

Honestly, though, two solid racks with less duplicates is definitely cooler than three racks with filler.

I have 259 right now

I’ve got it down to 199 as it sits. There’s a very special chip showing up tomorrow to complete the second rack. @JeepologyOffroad

And as I evolve the racks, find other singles, I’ll rotate out duplicates.

OMG I think your set is the set I saw when I found out all about Hot Rod and Rat Rod in the first place. Wow, seems like Hot rods would be more expensive to build? Wow

Lou this is absolutely incredible. Compiling a set of hot stamps in these colors is no small feat.

Do you have further goals for the set?

I’d also love to see a spread of the $100s you’ve included - very curious to see what made the cut for inclusion in a single barrel.

Further goals? Maybe another rack of $1s? Idk yet…. Another rack of $5s is basically impossible for now. Maybe one more barrel of $25s? It’s an evolutionary process that takes me down a new path each time I play the set. I love it

Here’s a few pics of the singles in the $100 barrel. I’m shopping for more, a few are a bit overpriced IMO (eBay), so they will stay watched for the time being…
