So...this hobby is taking me down an interesting path (not anything most of you haven't gone through). I have a full table cash set (HSI RHC), a semi-custom short table cash set (RHC Paulson), a full table limit set (RHC Paulson Mix)...so guess what I am missing????

(Now...I know there are several variations of each of the sets...but before I start...)

A tourney set...and yes I would like to be able to spread as many types of tourneys...so what are my best options

Anyone got a set that is collecting dust they are looking to move?

Tempt me...

I can tempt you with the "use cash chips for your tourney" path. I decided that I wanted to use the most fabulous cash chips from various casinos (Paulson THC of course) to create a 20 player T25 base set. It wasn't until I got to the point of trying to source the T1000s that I realized this was an impossible dream (within my limited budget). That's OK, I thought, I'll make it a T5 base! Ten years later, I'm still searching for the perfect T5, and I've realized that none of my more serious poker friends play tournaments. On the upside, that means there's no rush!

Great point...so maybe then a nice plastic or ceramic set might be worth it

BCCs are nice, and these are dusty...

I think the basic path has it's merits. I find the concept really cool. Playing a tournament with fabulous Paulson cash chips from various casinos makes a beautiful splashed image in my mind. I think the keys to making it feasible are to start with a base chip (T1 or T5) that doesn't land you in a place where you have to buy $1000s for $10(++) each. Even $500s can be pretty pricey. Or, customize your expensive chips from cheaper chips that can be relabeled (copying an appropriate casino cash chip).

Do you want compression mold chips or are you open to other materials for your tourney set ?
Creating a CPC set (can be solid or with L1 spots if you have a lower budget) might be the way to go if you really want compression mold chips...
If you want to stick with Paulson, maybe inlays replacement are the way to go...

Sent you a PM with a ceramic set I have for sale. It's custom/semi-custom.

If you’re going to go, go big... Big Top to be precise!

43mm IHC tournament set FTW! ;)

Nobody from the states buy these! I can still feel them radiating awesomeness while they are in europe. I don't want this feeling to end. :(
If I can stall this sale for a few years until my inevitable big score at the lottery...
