I play Limit Mixed games like once a year yet I have 4 Limit sets.

Try limit with split-pot games only. That is fun!

Limit Pineapple can be fun too. Lots of chasing when the bet sizes are small and fixed. Split-pot sounds fun too and would probably have a similar effect.

Simply considering playing limit is ALL THE REASON YOU NEED to build a limit set.

Not nearly as awesome as 2,000 Paulson dollars, but they still make into mountains of chips for the winning hands(s). Also, it is really easy to make split pots fast when playing high/low games too.

New reply to an old post but the establishment's name sounded familiar and it occurred to me this casino (now closed) was featured in the 2011 documentary titled 'The Holy Rollers - the True Story of Card Counting Christians' about an 'All Christian' Blackjack card counting team which had its origins in Seattle. With no disrespect intended towards the denominated sets out there, I fully agree. Of course, I’m not a very smart man - it took me three limit sets to figure this out for myself.

I read that the white chips were the high denoms. Since you will eventually have mixed stacks, is there any risk of the white and light blue getting mixed up?

I thought about playing Limit for about 20 seconds. So I reserved chips for a set!

My group never played Limit. I’m going to introduce it next month. My first set was the Casino Da Vinci on the spirit mold (China clay)
I have this cheaper set that has everything for cash and tourney already. It was sitting at the back of the closet. Decided to add blue $1s and Pink $10s in an inexpensive way to see if we like limit play.
@ $.13 a chip. Didn’t want to invest a lot if we don’t like it. Just testing the waters. Nothing compared to some nice limit sets on here but it’ll get the job done for now.
