Although NLHE has dominated the poker world for over a decade now, I'm one of those who still loves grinding it out for hours on the $2/$4 and $4/$8 limit tables.

For this reason, I love when the occasional pr0n of the massive limit set pops up. @courage Terrible's set, @moose PCA set, @slisk250 Mike's Casino set, @Psypher1000 Empress set (guys, please post these sets or provide me with permission!!!!)

However, I feel like there are many more out in the community that I haven't seen yet, especially with all of this talk lately about mixed cash games, etc...

So let's see them!! Let's see those massive sets built specifically with limit games in mind. For example, those two denomination sets where a single denomination dominates the set. 600 x $1's, 800 x $1's, 1000 x $1's, 2000 x $1's (or $5's for you high rollers).

And although I'm a Paulson guy, this is not a Paulson only thread. So let's see those custom sets, TRKs, ceramics, etc...

Here's the start of mine. I took this pic a month or two back and I've since added 200 x $1's for 1000 total. Will post updated pr0n next week.

Limit is a really good way to get players started or to teach people new games. The variance is high enough to overwhelm skill. That might sound bad but it actually makes sure everyone wins some nights and no one gets felted on one mistaken hand. Everyone's buy-in lasts longer. Limit poker is "good for the game" when people are playing with one bullet and going home when busted.

Limit poker is social while still being a good game. It might not look as sexy as a no limit game, but it deserves a chance.

I love the limit sets -- I actually enjoy playing limit in the casino more than NL... but, to my friends, it's not "poker" if you can't push all your chips into the middle.

I do love when they complain that they can't "get somebody off a hand in this game".

What surprises me is that I hear people who I think are honestly good, thinking players fall victim to this dumb line of thought.

@bergs you should post up the limit portion of the Truman's House chips. I guess that would be all the $1s and $20s? One of the best custom limit sets out there for sure.

And @courage just might have a limit set ready for posting sometime soon...

Here's a couple of my dedicated Limit sets...

First, it's a flexible NCV Samurai with a 47mm Paulson Winner Club Blaze orange to be re-labeled Samurai 20x, 25x, 50x or just another NCV (don't want to use the $25s and $100 from the cash set)... Haven't decided yet... It's a shame the mint green doesn't show well in the pictures 'cause the chip is absolutely gorgeous...

The second is a $4/$8 Ace's... I'm a big fan of the colors/spots of the Ace's but because of the inlay, I wanted only one chip in play so I had to go Limit... I was between the $2 and the $3 since I love both but decided to go with the Dolphin Blues because I could spread $4/$8, easier to my players... Got all but a couple of racks from Jim during his pre-sale back in the day... I guess it's time for a decent camera since the Dolphin Blue doesn't show well in the pics either... Still wanna get 2 more racks of $2 to get to 1,200 (1.5 racks per person, 8 max)

Had the pleasure of playing a $4/8 game with @ssanel54's Ace's $2s and $25s at a BBotB a while back and they are gorgeous in stacks (and racks as pictured here obv). Beautiful, beautiful chips.

I could also spread a 5/10 limit game with 1 chip/2 chip structure with 880 reds but I'm waiting till Horseshoe Cleveland to get some snappers to make it a 2/4 chip game (or even a $2.50/5.00/7.50 game as Jbutler suggested once).

To be honest, I do not understand, is there any need for such a large number of lower chip?
Have they not lie huge mountain that is not used?
how to calculate the number of chips in the set?
