More perfection from @Gear.
$.25 is label over an orange monogrammed chip.
$.50 is a milled day green chip with textured inlay.
$100 is a Riverside Casino $1 with textured inlay replacement.

@Potsie1 these all look great. On those monogrammed chips, did you have to mill first, or are the labels just on top of the hot stamp? Can you feel the stamp thru the label? They look awesome.

what's the deal with the stuff causing the yellow color variation on the Mirage $1s? I have a mint condition rack of those chips and would like to get that stuff off if I can. Have you looked into this?

Great sets by the way. Particularly love the Lakeshores.

I have cleaned a few Mirage $1s now and when you use a toothbrush and a little soap, the soap turns YELLOW. I don't know if the dye for these was experimental, or if there was too much of it, or what, but if you wash used chips, they fade.

what is the original hundred
Riverside Casino $1. Gear did full shaped inlay replacement.

On the cheap monogrammed chips I scraped the raised portion off. Not milled. I just wanted an inexpensive way to transform the thousands of unused monogrammed chips lying around.

@FDLmold is correct. The yellow will come off with cleaning. It seems most prevalent in the slightly used, still sharp edges but starting to get dirty type of chip. It's as if there's an initial factory coating that reacts to the oils in your hand but then wares off with a little more use. The color variation is only in the mint and slightly used chips. There's no variation whatsoever in the well used ones.

Could be machining oil used during the lathing process to turn the edges to 39mm. Occassionly it doesn't get fully removed before the chips leave the factory.

Great sets! I really love the Lakeshores. I think your fracs are significantly better than the original hot stamped ones.

Check out the jokers wild 5s mixed with the lakeshore 5s. Pretty decent match since lakeshore 5s are quite elusive. Same shaped inlay as well. The two full rows of yellow 5s are half and half.

if you ever go crazy and decide you hate that case, i'll gladly purchase it from you. I have the smaller version and I love it...
