White is deff the new style everyone is using on cabinets. Wood and metal are normally timeless in designs, but on cabinets I did this exact same style in my kitchen (lighter gray wood floors) and I love love love the fresh look. Also it’s easy to see the dirt and wipe clean. I’m in the process of flipping a Neighboring property and just told the contractor “all white painted cabinets” - yesterday. We recently redid our kitchen. Opted for painting the cabinets (they were cherry wood). Turned out pretty good. Much cheaper than buying new ones. Please excuse the mess. Haha.

I really like the bar stools. One word of caution if you get these, a couple of the bolts were just a bit too short. I had to flatten the lock washer with a hammer to get the bolt to reach the threads. Once I did this, they went together nicely. Let me know if you have any questions or want better pictures of the stools.
*Sigh* My reno has been pushed back to Jan 2022. Just signed the contract for the cabinet makers, but they're backlogged for 4.5 months. At least it gives me a little more time to make some more money to balance out the budget increases.
oof, that's rough. but better to have a realistic date than promises with no follow-through. that's been the best thing about my contractor - he gives me a date for something, and that something has happened on or before that date every time. it even goes down to the littlest job details; he consistently under promises and over delivers, which is right up my alley as a customer.
that's going to be a lot of microwaving/hotplating/grilling/ordering in/eating out for the time the kitchen is out of commission
